My name is Melissa Willcocks, I have lived in Providenciales since 2006. My mother was the first one of our family to move here a decade ago. She wanted to escape the cold Canadian winters for a more serene destina- tion…she chose the jewel of the Caribbean; the Turks and Caicos islands.
Together, we started making beautiful handmade greeting cards which later led me to explore my artistic talents further. I started painting and designing artwork and souvenirs that truly showcase the beauty of the Turks and Caicos.
The use of natural Grace Bay beach sand has become a signature element to my paintings. These Islands are truly captivating and inspiring. I am delighted to share its uniqueness through my art; something that all visitors should not only have the opportunity to experience but also to take home.
